Seven Stages of Misery

Seven Stages of Misery

The very name strikes fear into the heart of students who know what it means.

It is a practice technique that will take all your reserves of willpower and courage to complete. Only the strongest survive.

But it is so good for your pieces that only the foolish will not attempt it.

The Seven Stages of Misery is designed to take sections that you sometimes get right and turn them into sections that you always get right.

Once you start playing the game, you are not allowed to stop until you win. If everything goes well, that might only take fifteen minutes or so.

But if you have an off day...it could turn into an off night as well.

Are you ready for this? The game is not named "Seven Stages of Misery" by accident. The first student I ever made play the game burst into floods of tears before she was finished...ooops. (I told her the game was called "The Seven Delightful Frolics through Practice Funland",  so I don't think she was expecting the game to be as tough as it really is. You've been told the truth with the new title, so you can't say you weren't warned!)

I'm ready! I can handle it! Just tell me how to play...
